What A Blessing!

We decided to take Gwen up north to be blessed. We really wanted her great grandma's to be there. We really appreciated the special effort mad by Grandma Bowen and Grandma Richards (her namesake) to be there to witness the event. Grandma and Grandpa Cluff flew in from Texas to see Gwen and her cousin Elizabeth be blessed. We blessed her on Friday, April 2nd. She was supposed to wear Courtney's blessing dress, but as she didn't even weigh as much as Courtney did when she was born, the dress drown the poor little thing. Aunt Jackie came to the rescue and loaned us Jane's blessing dress which was a gorgeous raw silk. We ended up blessing Gwen at my mom and dad's church because when you get all the Cluff's together, you just need MORE room. We loved being surrounded by our family for this special day. Carter gave Gwennie a such a sweet blessing. He loves his new little girl and they are quickly developing a special bond. My mom, my sisters, and the Cluff's came to the rescue, as usual, and help me throw together a quick and delicious meal to feed the whole group. It just makes me miss them even more! What a blessing it is to have the blessing of the Priesthood in our lives. Just another witness of a Heavenly Father who loves us and is watching carefully over our little family.
